21kW of Electric Performance

At the heart of the Xaber 300 is a high-output electric drivetrain capable of delivering up to 21kW of peak power. Segway pairs the motor with its internally developed X720 controller to manage power delivery and overall system performance.

Rather than giving riders a simple Eco and Sport setting, Segway designed the Xaber around multiple selectable performance levels that allow the bike to grow with the rider.

72V 44Ah Samsung 50S Battery

The Xaber 300 is powered by a 72V 44Ah lithium-ion battery with approximately 3.17kWh of energy capacity. Segway uses premium Samsung 50S cells engineered to support the high discharge demands of the 21kW drivetrain.

The battery supports a 5C peak discharge rate, helping maintain strong power delivery during hard acceleration and demanding riding rather than immediately fading as load increases.

Electronic Clutch

One of the most interesting features on the Xaber 300 is Segway's electronic clutch system. Instead of simply twisting the throttle and relying entirely on controller programming, the e-clutch is designed to simulate the behavior of a traditional motorcycle clutch.

Riders can use the system for technical maneuvers where an immediate burst of power is useful, including lifting the front wheel and controlling power delivery through obstacles.

Selectable Traction Control

The Xaber 300 incorporates electronic traction control (TCS) designed to reduce excessive wheel slip when traction becomes limited.

Traction-control behavior can be optimized through the Segway app, allowing riders to tailor the electronic intervention for different terrain and riding styles.

Hill Hold

Segway also incorporated Hill Hold into the Xaber 300. When stopped on an incline, the system can prevent the bike from rolling backward while the rider prepares to accelerate.

Tunable Marzocchi Suspension

Segway didn't cut corners on the suspension package. The Xaber 300 features Marzocchi suspension front and rear with adjustable compression and rebound damping.

The Xaber 300 uses a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum frame designed to balance stiffness, durability and predictable handling.

4-Piston Hydraulic Brakes

With 21kW available, braking performance matters. Segway equips the Xaber with 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes front and rear paired with large 220mm x 3mm brake rotors.

The mechanical braking system works alongside regenerative braking to provide strong and predictable deceleration.

Off-Road Wheel & Tire Package

The Xaber 300 runs a staggered off-road wheel package with a 70/100-19 front tire and 80/100-17 rear tire.

The 19/17 configuration helps keep the motorcycle responsive while providing the rollover capability and ground clearance needed for technical off-road riding.

Heavy-Duty 520 Chain Drive

Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a heavy-duty 520 chain, giving the drivetrain the strength required to handle the Xaber's high torque output and aggressive off-road use.

The bike also incorporates one-button reverse, making it much easier to maneuver out of tight trail sections or awkward situations.

Connected Technology & Security
