Drawing from our own experiences with Sur Ron, Segway, and Talaria, we recognized the need for enhanced ergonomics. To solve this, we developed our own direct-mount stem featuring a 2" rise and a one-piece handlebar clamp, ensuring effortless installation. This stem riser is specifically tailored for Sur Ron, Segway, and Talaria e-bikes.
Beyond its functional appeal, this riser exhibits an attractive design that not only positions your body in a more comfortable riding stance but also provides enhanced front-end control, making the bike remarkably agile, particularly in low-speed situations.
Note: that if you do not intend to trim your steering tube stem, a stem spacer kit will be required for installation. Once you remove your OEM post-mount stem, we recommend cutting down the stem and utilizing the OEM stem spacer to set the headset preload.
Note: Proper torque settings are essential for the safe and reliable installation of titanium hardware:
- Riser Mounting Bolts (to the top triple clamp): Tighten to 8-12 Nm (6-9 ft-lbs) using blue Loctite.
- Handlebar Clamp Bolts (face clamps): Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft-lbs).
